Hypo Snow Leopard Gecko and Poss SHTCT
Little update on some of our Leopard Gecko Babies this season. We also purchased a new cameraso you will see pics with a little more color and clarity around here. Especially if I actually learn how to use it.
This little guy/gal is from a Mack Snow Het Tremp x SHTCT
This little guy/gal is a Super Hypo Snow Leopard Gecko from the same pairing
I’m not positive that these two are truly “Super Hypos” yet. We won’t really know for sure until they grow a bit more. Let me know what you think in the comments below.

That’s why the title says “poss” for possible. We will have to see how many spots they end up with. A super hypo is defined by 10 or less spots on the back. At least that’s according to the leopard gecko wiki. I’ll take some more pics in a few weeks and maybe we will be able to tell. Thanks for the comment.

The gecko’s in this post are hypo due to the “reduced” amount of spotting on the back (from base of tale to base of neck). A super hypo has either no spots or less than 10. This is a line bred trait, so breeding two hypo’s together gives you a better chance of hypos or super hypos. And no it’s not a bad thing, it’s a great thing. I love hypos! Here is a picture of this one’s mother. A true SUPER hypo carrot tail. http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3157/3045303906_e0f64aee61.jpg?v=1227309057. Is it all making sense?
